The first time I watched Sirens, I was quite disappointed. I felt that Sam was not in it enough!
I was so taken with his character though, I have really grown to like this film. Norman Lindsay is one of Sam's most endearing characters and I like to believe there is a lot of Sam's personality in this character.
(Of course I have no way of knowing and I want to stress this is just my opinion!)

I always think of this film as the movie of wonderful Sammy expressions!
This one for example, where he is sitting with his children watching a fantastic
fairy show the models are putting on. What woman could resist? Not me!!

Here's another cute one! Sam's character seems very opinionated and is quite
a free spirit. Here he is espousing is beliefs to the minister (Hugh Grant),
who has come to talk him out of showing a controversial painting.

This is my favorite shot from the film. Here Norman is sitting on the porch and
sees the minister's wife heading out to snoop on the models who are on a "date".
He just looks great here, kind of all-knowing and a little smirky! Yummy!

This movie is strictly for adults. It contains a lot of sexy stuff and the models are
unclothed much of the time. I was shocked the first time I saw it because it
is billed as a comedy and I was not expecting it to be so sexy. I think this
contributed to my not warming to the film initially. Now that I am over that, I
would definitly recommend it. Those yummy expressions are not to be missed!
