Ok, I've had to deal with this. So PLEASE email the owner of the mare or stallion you are breeding to and pay them. Alright? It's a pain to go to court. And It's not fun waiting for the verdict or ending up with an unwanted foal.
All of my horses MUST be bred here. That way I can keep tabs on them.
If you don't have an account number yet, I will delete the message and you can come back when you have one. I'm sorry but it has happened to many times to me. And I don't have time for it.
A mare's gestation period is two weeks. Sometimes the foal will be early, or the foal may be late.
If you want to show your mare, I suggest doing it in the first week of her pregnancy. I will not stand for it if your mare shows in her second week. That is cruel and you could have an accident and kill the foal, or seriously injure your mare. NO JUMPING! It's hard on your mare and not to metion dangerous! It is irrisponsible do this! Ok, I relize this happens somtimes. Wait till the show results are in before you even consider breeding your mare.
It does happen and I don't like to do it. But sometimes there is a problem with the foal and it can die. I will not refund your money. If there is a Live Foal Garentee, please put LFG beside the stallion's name. It may not stop it. But it helps.
A mare can be breed once ever 2 weeks. No exceptions. If you have stallion's lined up for your mare. Just wait. I suggest one week for weaning.
I know you won't have a problem with this one. Have your mare halter broke, and able to load in and out of a trailer. It's helps.
