If you are a skater in Omaha and know of a good place to
skate or know of any rumors, just e-mail me and let me know
about them. Or if you just want to skate, e-mail me and
we'll arrange it.
1. Baker's at 90th & Military Rd.- has a slightly
angled low rail on one side and a small drop off at the
other. You'll probably get kicked off at the rail but oh
well.
2. Northwest High School- about five marble benches,
a six stair drop, and no one to kick you off.
3. Central High School- a long ledge next to a set
of stairs, and a ledge circuling the school.
4. Rumors- I've heard of a skate park to be
finished in spring of '99 and one that already exists in a
Salvation Army building. I also heard a rumor about a
skatepark in Freemont, NE but we have found no info about
it at all.
5. The Old Market- the most famous place to skate
in Omaha (featured in a HOAX video, I think). I've never
skated there because the cops will take your skates if they
catch you.
