| The master of Magic (Michael Piontek) is the ruler of the first part of the journey. His realm is that of magic. Well, of course, but to be more exact he brings you back to the world of Camelot and King Arthur. In this part young Arthur (Kristofer Saly) meets Merlin (Tommy Tune) and he learns about the sword Excalibur. He also learns a valuable lesson "In order to believe in your dreams you must first be able to defend them"! |

| This act starts with a wonderful solo dance by Andy Pellick joined by some of the other cast. They do a wonderful dance number with great music. Then it moves on to Arthur learning his lesson. And it ends with a wonderful fight scene including two (million dollar apiece) dragons. This is a great opening for what is yet to come. | |
| Michael does a wonderful job and makes his character a very mysterious and magical man. It's hard to see him as anything but wondrous. He is great at keeping the audience entertained and he really does do a great job at his character. | |
| He started the show when David Cassidy was doing the show. He came in and fell right into place as The Master of Magic! He is still with the show now with Tommy and we hope that he stays with the show long after Tommy leaves. | |
