Yay!! Steve2 is not leaving the planet and he's not moving to outer mongolia. I thought he was going to be moving to Northampton, cos he's got a new job there, but no, he's only moving to the other side of Coventry, so he's not too far away!!

The Mystery Years. I just remembered - that's what Simon Mayo's radio sectiony bit is called!!

I think as things start getting better here, I'm going to run out of stuff to say to you. Well, when I say better, it just means I'm tired of griping!!

OK then, back to last night then. Steve2 and I had a drink in Brown's and then went for a Pizza at Pizza Express, cos I didn't like anything on the menu at Brown's and I'm just picky picky picky!! By the way, Steve2 is called Steve2 because he was the second Steve I knew. Steve1 is Steve Schofield and Steve2 is Steve Pymount. Steve1 is a goth and Steve2 is a lecturer. That's how we tell the difference, appart from the fact that Steve1's legs are a tad skinnier than Steve2's, cos Steve2 plays hockey a lot, and Steve1 jumps up and down in darkened clubs. Right, now you know which Steve I'm on about it's just left for me to say that we chatted for ages about work, MSc projects and the course and how many people had failed the Database re-sit exam and have been chucked off the course and stuff like that. And by the time I got home, my parents were just about to have dinner at 10.30pm. I mean if they will go out gallovanting and playing golf!!

I was sorting through my cupboard of memories a couple of days ago. I have all these shoeboxes and there's a vanity box with "****Memories sealed in a plastic membraine kept in a cardboard box****" written on it. Anyway, I was reading through my autograph books I had from school which I got people to sign before I left and on the inside of the one I had before I left St Joseph's are lots of hearts scrawled with I love or heart so and so. At the time I think it was Chris (I assume I meant Chris Cullen), Adam (must be Adam Banks - lead singer in the Revellers who used to play in Caroline Jones' church hall), Alisdair(who was the drummer in the Revellers) and Andrew (which could have been any number of Andrews at the time) and some others, but there was one name I just couldn't recognise and that was Craig. I've been wracking my brains trying to think if I ever fancied Craig from Bros or if I was hallucinating a Craig, cos I really have never met a Craig who has stayed in my mind for long enough to fancy him (and at that time that was all love and hearts meant).

Weekend plans keep on changing. Now, I'm not seeing Dave at all. (Sorry, that sounds like we've split up and we haven't, I'm just not seeing him this weekend). He's going to be DIYing - building a top for his fish tank and a computer desk and I'm helping out at home to try to organise stuff for this party my parents are having. Dave hasn't met any of my family friends crowd. Should be fun. There are far too many people who have phoned up and I've answered keep saying "...and we're going to be meeting... (they pause here expecting me to say something, but I don't cos I know that they want me to)....(then I finally let them out of their misery")...Dave" It's not like they're going to judge him ... much!! No, I think it will be a refreshing change from David who used to sit and smile quietly in the corner. I'm looking forward to Dave meeting Gina, they're really quite similar in bizzare ways, no, Dave does not wear low cut tops and skimpy short skirts!! And he gets to meet my fave gay couple. OK, so they're the only gay couple I know, so they have to be my fave, but Peter's just so I want to hug him and squeeze him and call him George or Georgina, and Sunny is just larvely and excellent at arranging flowers!!

I haven't told you about Dave's fishies have I? He's got loads of them, they're all shiney and cute and they keep sprogging. The ickle tiny baby fish are larvely. He's set up another tank at work aswell. It's a wonder if they'll get any work done now!

I'd better do some work now. There is actually stuff to do!
