So last week I didn't get to tell you how fab the flameco dancing was, apart from the fact that the Spanish guitar and the whinney singers did take over a lot more than they should have. Also, since decorating my bedroom, there were several wasps living behind the net curtains, so I chucked out these big wasps, and it wasn't until afterwards that I found there were these baby wasps on the windowsill. So I started looking after these ickle baby wasps who couldn't turn over after they landed on their backs. They couldn't fly or anything. They were so cute and fragile. I asked my mum what they ate, but she told me to chuck them out of the window. So eventually I broke my maternal urge to look after the ickle baby wasps and chucked them out into the cold wind outside.
This weekend was very Friends-esque. I went to see my brother in Cambridge. I had to move Suran from a big room to a smaller room, we filled up Nick the Nissan to dodgy suspension limits then came back to pick up the odds and ends we left behind. His new place isn't that bad. The only really bad things are that it's further away from where he works than he was before and he hasn't got any windows, just a skylight, with a very thin blind on it, so he was awake from 6am on Sunday morning, which is really unusual for him.
Afterwards, we went into town. We sat in a coffee house for some time drinking capuchinos and frapachinos and eating biscotti. I lurve Starbucks coffee now!! Unfortunately we didn't get a sofa, but it was just a really nice atmosphere. And went shopping!! I love Gap kid's wear - I love being small enough to be able to wear it aswell. I also found this great jewlery shop which does handmade Mexican jewlery and I bought 3 pairs of earings and a ring.
In the evening we went to Sticky Fingers - a restaurant owned by Bill Wyman (Rolling Stones). The food was very....sticky! Then we wandered round town, but both of us were very tired and couldn't be bothered to queue to get into the biggest pub in Britain, so we went to the pub by the river for a pint before we caught a taxi back home again.
Suran's now living with this Italian guy called Paolo - Unfortuantely he isn't as sexy as the one from Friends, but on Sunday morning he surprised me as I was coming down the stairs to put my stuff in the car, he turned on the light and said Hi and I fell down the stairs. I've killed my ankle, but it was the embarasement that was worse.
Sunday we did some more shopping and had a Hagan Daz breakfast and lunch in this bigest pub place. Then it was time for me to leave and let Suran sort out his new living space. He's going to a "retreat" today in Canterbury, where they go and pretend to listen to some speakers on Genetics and get pissed - sounds good to me.
I got home and soon after I managed to get home, Dave turned up. He's been to visit his Dad and Gemma the dog, while his Mum and sister were on holiday in Majorca. It's wierd, I miss him when he's away-away, but when he's around-away, even though he's 100 miles away, I don't miss him as much - must be the fact that we have email. He's bought a drum. It looks really cool, but he'll be disturbing his neighbours.
He didn't stay long, and had a nice quiet evening. Watched Sex and Chips and Rock and Roll - The guy with the long hair looks really....Urm....Well it's half the fact that he looks too much like the interior decorator in Changing Rooms for me to appreciate him properly, well he's the only one who looks semi decent.
Got Salsa and Mambo dancing tonight. Hopefully Steve2 will be free for me to go with him tonight - he had to write a report last week, so I let him off going. I spent all morning looking for the Guinness theme tune that was a Mambo, so that we could have a change from Mambo #5.
Yell at me if I haven't written for 2 weeks, but appart from that, don't hold your breath!!
