I am now so busy that it is getting difficult to write this every day, so if I go missing, do not fret my ickle pettals!! Have you noticed how quick evenings go when you're not doing anything. I took a bit of a detour last night on my way home. I thought I'd check out the motorway route back home, before it gets dark, so I can suss out the quickest or shortest way. Anyway, cut a long story short, I wound up near Corby, which is way way out. And I finally found my way back again. So, when I got home it was near 7.30pm, which wasn't too bad, considering the fact that I left work just before 6.30pm. I sat and watched something on TV for a bit and near the end of East Enders I got called down for diner. This was an early meal for us. I'm really not used to it, but by the time we'd finished it was like 10.30pm ish. We're eating all the left overs from the party. We'll have more next weekend, cos Mum's having a party for the neighbours. Provided we didn't disturb them too much this weekend!

Work is actually busy now, and authors and reviewers are proving to be the pains I was told they would be. And we had a 2 hour meeting today to decide what books would be published in November and December. We were supposed to have another one straight afterwards, but fortunately we managed to postpone it till tomorrow morning, cos we were all starving.

Suran's gone back to Cambridge. He says I have to go and visit him. When I asked why, he said because there was a Starbucks there (as in coffee house like in the States.) That sounds like a good enough reason to go to Cambridge. I'm sure there's plenty of other drinking establishments that I'd enjoy aswell. But it's not the same as the Time Tunnel at Liverpool Uni, where I get to get nostalgic about the music.

Do you remember the film Pyrates? Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick setting lots of things on fire just by kissing. I've been looking for it everywhere, and allegedly, I'm not holding my breath, this internet site has it, and I've ordered it, and it might, just might arrive on my doorstep one of these days. I think I fell asleep during it the last time it was on TV, cos they showed it so late at night, but these 80s films are so hard to get hold of. I think I'll go and see if they've got One Crazy Summer now.

I've got an hour and a half left to keep working, so I guess I'd better find some more people to nag. I think I'm a bit more stable this week than I have been, work doesn't seem quite as daunting as before, and I'm slowly getting to work out what people are like and who the hell they are, which I guess is a start!
