Back again after some nagging from the few people who actually read this!

Urm. What have I been doing? Good question. Latin American dancing Gold Star exam is coming up at the beginning of December, so Wednesday nights are spent practicing for that. Mum and Dad have also started dancing again, cos they're going to South America next year and want to be able to Tango properly.

Work's good. I have to become noisier, as always. I'm apparently going to a Wrox conference in London to meet some of these wierd authors and reviewery people and get to meet these people who I email on a daily basis in a couple of weeks time. We're having loads of meetings and I'm going to have to start chairing some of them soon.

Wierd dreams - I had a bizare dream that was in my office, but the people were all different - I didn't know any of them. One bloke behind me as I was coming into the office put his hands on me bum. There was a conversation that ensued, but I can't remember what was said, but there was some reference to what the man did. Then there was this massive black fly/dragonfly/butterfly-y thing on my right lapel and I started screaming. I had another one about Dave rescuing me from some other fly-like creature, but I don't remember it, despite trying to force myself to remember it. I think this fly thing must stem from the dead wasps and bizzare pupa things on my window-sill. I wanted to di-sect one of the pupa things, but forced myself to throw it out the window before I became a wierdo.

I'm currently reading American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. I'm up to the chapter where he does a complete review of all of Genesis' work up to the 80s - Jane would have loved it. I had this bizzare feeling, cos it was like Hugh Padgham - I recognise that name - Jane went on about it for ages at school. So for most of this morning I was singing Home by the Sea and Beyond the Silver Rainbow. That's a bizzare song - that's the one where a bear comes in and sits down beside you - what were those guys on? Anyway, the book. I'm madly in love with a serial killer. What's worse is he's a fictional serial killer. What's even worse is that he's a yuppie serial killer and the worst is that I love his lifestyle. I want to be a yuppie (without the serial killing). The book goes on for ages and you're thinking what the hell were those people on Amazon complaining about? I've just learnt all the 80s designers? (I couldn't get into the book to start with, cos every other line had some reference to a fashion designer or a designer shop/restaurant etc - I had to start reading my book on Canabal Killers to have a change). Anyway, the chapter before the Genesis one is like - Uhghghr. It's wierd how I've got into reading stuff. I ordered 4 books off Amazon -"Ralph's Party", "American Psycho", "Girls' Night Out" and "Cannibal Killers : The History of Impossible Murderers (True Crime Library)". Great selection huh?

I'm meeting up with the Surrey lot on Saturday. Beer Fest. I can't go to the Beer Fest, cos we're having a 2 years since my grandfather died ceremony in a Temple near Surrey during the day, but I'm meeting the lads in the pub in the afternoon/evening.

Anyway, life's rosier than it was last time I wrote and life's great and love's great and aint it all faboulous darling? Sorry, was that cynical? It wasn't supposed to be. Work was getting a bit bizzare, but I think I can work around it, or work it out. Really it's all great and I haven't got a thing to moan about. Met up with Steve2 last night - he's been busy with work and stuff and he's moving house - bought a new place - very nice - getting the keys officially next week. I want a house - Karen's got a fab house near Bristol - crashed at her place last weekend. Met Jane and Simon in the pub and had a cool time.

Karen and Rich are possibly moving out to America for a bit next year, with work - seperately of course, cos they're not "Karen and Rich" just Karen AND Rich. So Dave and I might go visit them and holiday over in California next year - better start saving. Dave's coming skiing with us also next January in Spain - be groovey.

Anyway, better go and suss out how to Project Manage better. Until next time I can be bothered to do this!
