What a show it was!! I have been to quite a few hum shows in my time and this by far was the best one I have seen yet. The opening band was Mad Trucker Gone Mad and to be honest with you that is what they sounded like a mix between primus and a heavy Willie Nelson, great combination isn't it.

The next band was Herioc Doses and I really enjoyed this band and so did the crowd. They played instrumental music that sounded like Phish mixed in with a little bluesy feel to it. Then it was time for Hum, the fog machine was going and so were the blue and red lights this made for a nice atmosphere.

The opened with Afternoon at the Axoltyls, this sounded great Matt's signing execellent. The next song was the pod this was the loudest and heaviest I have ever heard this song played live. Then they played in no particular order, Stars, Suicide machine, Why I like the Robbins, I'd Like your Hair Long, I hate it Too (this was the closer and it was so amazing they jammed the ending for at least ten minutes), Comin Home, Apollo execellent choice by them sounded better than the CD, the scientists, Boy with Stick, Ms. Lazarus, Iron Clad Lou, Shovel, Think that is all.

Matt seemed to be having a awesome time out there, he was really drunk. He even stage dove three times, twice with his guitar and once he just took his glasses off and put his guitar down and just ran at the crowd and surfed. He said they were really apreciative about our intensity.

Tonight they seemed to thrive on the crowd's intensity which resulted in a much heavier, and much longer Hum show, What a night!!!
