Justin's Monte Carlo SS Aerocoupe Homepage

This is my 1987 Aero. It was black, red stripes, original paint, wheels, engine, rebuilt transmission. I put in a Clarion Pro-Audio DRB-4475 CD player, JL Audio 6X9" rear speakers, Alpine 3 1/2" front, Crossfire 202 for rear, MTX Thunder 280 for the front, and wired together with Lightning Audio. Aside from stereo, I have put in an Accel Super-Coil, Bosch platinums, ACDelco wires, rebuilt radiator, new heater core, hoses, water pump, and thermostat. I also installed a Viper 300+ security alarm and a K&N air filter. After that, I then put on a new catalytic converter, new Y-pipe, Dynomax Super Turbos, and chrome tips. I liked the low note of the Turbos, but I realized, I want it LOUD. So, I took them off and ran straight pipes off the cat. It really livened it up. At the same time, I mounted up a new set of Firestone Firehawks 255/60 rear and 215/65 front. I have never felt the car handle so well in my life. As for modifications, that was it. I got the car from my parents for graduation in May of 1998, who bought it special order brand new. I still have the original order sheet, options list, etc. I was starting to save up for a good engine rebuild, because it had 159,641 miles on it, but at 11:35 am, Sunday, June 13, 1999, an electrical short at the battery caught the wires on fire, proceeded it's way down the car and through the engine compartment, THROUGH the firewall and into the interior. All that's left now is the back bumper, rear wheels, axle, differential, exaust, and thank God, the back window. All that I can do now is restore it. I hope to get it back together and running to factory condition. If you want to see pictures, there is a link below. Again, thank you for stopping by, and make sure you come again!
