This particular item was made for the daughter of an associate. It is a fan art piece of mine that depicts a battle angel or guardian angel. It is solely done in black outlining pencil. The piece is entitled: Angel and is considered by me a technical achievement with its flowing lines and angles. This is one of the few warder pieces I have done over the years. They stem from an old Hidatsa practice of depicting in various mediums "guardian" forces , to watch over the intended. This piece was done due to the sickly nature of the child in an effort by this lone artist to help her and her kin cope with her various illnesses. As such it garners a place as a special piece in my pantheon of items. It was created on a large piece of white archival paper nearly twenty four inches wide by twenty two long for the intended purpose of being large enough for a full wall centerpiece ward. Here I have adjusted the levels to show the piece off better.
