Here you see some of my more intrepid first uses of the publisher software. The first of the two is a flyer made for an art class I underwent at the beginning of my semester. It is an advertisement for the primary art classes to raise funds for a trip to Arizona and its Indian Markets over the Christmas season. The usage of things that aren't related to the art field is what makes this a beginners publication. The clip art is a stock one from the Microsoft companies clip art files. As well as the template used here. It could have easily been made in Microsoft office documents due to its template-ish feel. The second piece here is a newer portion of work done as a class requirement and due to the fact that I needed some new business cards for use with my business Coldstone Trade. The outlay is basic but the pieces being used are in transition from my original use of publisher and its template feel. The graphics used here are my own created for American Indian higher education consortium, as well as the logo which I created before coming to graphic arts technologies courses.
