The piece seen here is considered by me to be one of my finest pieces, it took me exactly one year to complete and was done to complete a mastery of the nine stitches used by my family to create Northern plains bead work. Entitled: Dreamer Eagle it is a design made by my aboriginal friend and artist Elizabeth Russell-Arnot Marmon to honor and recognize her clan amongst her people. This piece was submitted for entry into the 2003 American Indian Higher Education Consortium but took no honors. Even thought it is considered to be my mastery piece. It also used a variety of beads starting at size ten/o and going down through each size to fourteen/o. To me it represents a wide pantheon of imagery and ideas as it has been used in several of my graphic arts pieces as well as standing alone as a framed wall hanging.
