Biography~ Ai went into the acting business at the age of eight years old doing a McDonald's commerical. Then by the age of 12 she was starring in television series, first with small roles then starred in the major roles in one of Japan's popular tv series"Toire No Hanakosan" along with her sister Aki.
Her first movie she starred in was "Gamera 3:Revenge of Iris" at the age of 16. She played the role of the young school girl Ayana who was going through some real difficulty after her parents were killed. Then the next film she starred in, which was a 2 parter, was Battle Royale 1 & 2 playing the role as Shiori Kitano. She played a minor role in Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack playing the role as the twin sister to her actual sister (Aki) in the city of Yokohama.
She became known very well for playing the role as Sora Takenouchi in the anime series "Digimon" for the 1st 2 seasons. She also played the role as Kino in Kino's Journey, and published a soundtrack for the film called "the Beautiful World".
