She was born 2/7/1916 in Douglas (Torning Twp), ND, and died 7/6/1994 in Breckenridge, MN.

Eloise D. Silvernail The funeral for Eloise D. Silvernail, 78, Wahpeton, ND., will be at 2 Friday in Evergreen United Methodist Church, Wahpeton, with burial in Milnor, ND. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 today and from 8 to noon Friday in Frank Family Funeral Home, Wahpeton, and one hour before services in the church. She died Wednesday, July 6, 1994. Eloise D. Benson was born Feb. 7, 1916, in Douglas, ND., where she grew up and atended rural school. She married Henry E. Silvernail April 3, 1937, in Britton, S.D. They lived on farms in Sargent County, Rutland, Forman and Stirum, all North Dakota, before living in Milnor for five years. In [Sept.] 1962, they moved to Minot, ND, where she worked in a nursing home. He died in 1967. She moved in [June] 1967 to Lisbon, ND where she worked in a nursing home for 20 years. She retired and moved into Wahpeton in 1988. She is survived by two sons, George (Bev), Abercrombie, N.D., and John (Shelly), Lisbon; three daughters, Doris (Glen) Medenwaldt, Wahpeton, Louise (Vernon) Odegard, Milnor, and Hazel (Ray) Gaudreau, Burke, Va.; a brother, Ted, Douglas; two sisters, Belinda Anhorn and Hilda (Leroy) Nielson, both Minot; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. |
