farther. Farther means distant. Further means in addition to.

few. Use few to refer to numbers. Use less to refer to quantity. Also, Few people love music means nobody loves music. However, a few people love music means some love music. See articles.

figures. Spell out single-digit numbers. But use figures for dates, time and other numbers.

finally. Not a synonym for lastly. The students solved the problem lastly means they did other things first before coming to the problem. The students solved the problem finally means they wrestled with it for some time before they could solve it.

find. You find a person but locate a place. Also, see discover.

follows. See after.

forbear. Forbear means refrain from. Forebear means ancestor.

forever. Not the same as for ever. Forever means continuously. For ever means always.
