My earliest experience with the supernatural is one that, until just recently, I had thought was just a dream, and now, I'm not so sure.
When I was really young, maybe 6 or 7, I shared a bedroom with my younger brother. We had a pretty big house, and our room was at the top of the stairs on the 2nd floor. The stairs constantly creaked, and sounded like someone was walking up them all night long. That was probably just the house settling, maybe.
I woke up in the middle of the night one time, for no reason that I can recall. Now, there was this bent wood rocking chair in our room. It wasn't old, I think it was bought at a department store probably that same year. Anyhow, it was near the foot of my bed. I woke up, and looked around, and there was a glowing green boy sitting in the rocking chair. He was sort of a lime green, and was rocking slowly. I totally got scared out of my mind of course, and I threw the covers over my head. I can't remember how long I stayed like that, but when I pulled the covers down, he was gone. It never happened again, and until just recently I seriously thought it was just a wierd dream.
Well, about 2 weeks ago, I was talking about ghosts and all that with my brother. He actually brought up the green boy! I was in shock, I can't think that I would have told him about a dream, he was really small back then, probably about 2 or 3. He said he stayed up at night sometimes he was so scared. Now, I know it sounds odd that someone that young can remember things, but my brother has a REALLY good memory. My parents talk about things from when we were kids, and I don't remember, but somehow he does. Beats me.
