Snowy, you were
the life and soul of DJ - he adored you and loved you to the end.
Those are feelings
not many people can even brag of having for another person, but an animal
is always true to his own and his owner. I will truly miss your little
ways -
the way you scratched
your head with one toe, your head turned completely upside down!!!
And how you would
tease DJ into thinking you were ready to mate, and when he came near you,
you tossed him on the floor!!! Or when I would reach over to scratch
your head - you
always had to hiss
at me first, then I was allowed a couple scratches, then you'd head off
to another part of the cage, or to DJ!! Oh, and I loved the way you tip-toed across the living room carpet so your feathers wouldn't touch the rug!! Life goes on, but it won't be the same without my precious Snowy - I know you have reached the Rainbow Bridge
and will be watching over your "family" here until we all meet again.
I will never, ever forget how you spread your wings across my chest and
laid your head down on my chest as you were leaving this earth!
It was an extremely emotional
moment for me and
I cried enough tears to flood the river!!
Never forget how much
you were loved, and will always be remembered and loved.
