Travelair.

This is Paul's newest plane. He's had a few now. After getting through 3 or 4 trainers, 3 or 4 mini-pipers and damaging the wing from his first low-winger, he bought this. This is the 3rd Travel air in Guernsey, and flies just as well as the other 2, even if it has only had one flight on a very windy day.

Powered by a GMS 47 engine, it has plenty of power for big lazy loops and rolls, as well as other more adventurous aerobatics.

It comes in ARTF format for around £45, and is very good value for money. There is very little work to do after opening the box, just the usual trainer style ARTF building sequence. Very quick.

As you can see, Paul looks very happy with his new plane after its test flight. And who can blame him. It flies very well, the stall is practically non-existent, and makes a good step up from the basic trainer. 10 out of 10.
