Ruput.
Although it has a strange name for an aircraft, it is a fairly sensible plane. Underneath, it is just a Laser 200. But, on top, it is a 32cc petrol-driven monster. But it is a very nice monster. it is stable in flight, easy to fly, and never frightens you. Yeah, right! Pat had 2 Laser 200 fibregalss fuselages. The first one, Lysa, was 6 inces longer in front of the tailplane. This had a YS 140 4-stroke in it, hence the name Lysa. This passed away unfortunately one blustery Sunday morning. Pulling out of a loop into wind, the wing snapped and Lysa buried itself. But Ruput lives on, despite a few scares. Once, the elevator pushrod snapped. The only damage was a broken prop.
