Misty 2002.

So, here is the last plane Pat will more than likely ever build in Guernsey, as there is only a month and a half until he goes and lives in England. But what a plane to finish off in guernsey with!

The fuselage is built from the same mould as Misty 2000, and the wing and tail sections are more or less the same dimension wise. But this time it has been designed more for freestyle than pattern aerobatics.

With wider ailerons, a wider rudder and much bigger elevators (around 2 thirds of the whole tailplane area is elevator) it should be quite active in the air. Also, to aid the 3-D-ness of it all, the moment arm (the distance between the back of the wing and the front of the tailplane) is 6 inches shorter than the the old Misty. And with a YS 140 4-stroke it uis definitely not short on power.

As you can see, Pat looks fairly happy with his latest creation.

Is that a colour scheme or what?
