This is the ARC Jupiter, from the same company as the Ready 2. The first thing that strikes you about the Jupiter is that it looks a lot more sporty and agile than the Ready. For a start, the Jupiter is a low-winger and the Ready is not. But, although the wing is in a different place and the fuselages are different, The wings and tail surfaces are identical on both planes. Tim even has the same engine in both with Irvine 53's. So, you know about the differences on the ground, what about the differences in the air.
With both of them in the air side by side, there is no comparison in the speed stakes. With both flat out straight and level, the Jupiter kicks the Ready in the teeth as it is much quicker. To fly them both at the same speed you need the Jupiter on just below 3/4 throttle. As for manouverability (try and spell that with your eyes closed) there really is not alot in it. I guess that has something to do with having the same wing section.
Verdict...well, if you fancy a low winger thats a bit quicker than a Ready and a new challenge in the air, then this is for you.
