What is now a fairly old (4-5 years), this Hirobo 46 sized helicopter is very quick. From the moment you push the nose forward it accelerates, and then accelerates some more. Not surprisingly with carbon blades and an OS 46 Heli motor for power. It loops with ease but for some reasons keeps on chewing up main gears. It blew 3 in as many weekends!
As you can see, it is a very sporty looking machine, with the brightly coloured decals and white tail boom. It is probably the fastest 46 size heli that I have ever seen (OK, I admit it, it may be just a little quicker than my Maverick!).
Mick actually managed to get this particular GPH for very good value for money. He bought it second hand with it having only done 5 or 6 hovers, including engine for a very little price. £50, infact!!
As you can see it looks quite smart when in the hover. It also loops easily, rolls beautifully and has a very controllable auto-rotation.
As you may be able to see in the few photo's either side of this text, the GPH has been tarted up a little. It now has a heading hold gyro, 3D paddles and a Zimmerman exhaust, which all come together to make a helicopter almost as good as a Sceadu 50. Because it only has an OS46 after all.
