This is a fun-fly with a difference. Pat doesn't like small planes so the smallest engine he had on the shelf was a 60. so he built a fun-fly with alot of weight to be able to cope with the power. It is no bigger than your average funfly (about 50 inch span) but it weighs just over 5.5 lbs! It is, shall we say, interesting. It will do all the stuff a Limbo Dancer or Cougar will do, it just does them a bit slower. It will even prophang. Just don't ask how it got its name! It is not being rude to you so don't worry about it.
The photo above shows Pat wondering if it would prophang at this attitude if the engine was running backwards?! Why are you laughing? It's not that theoretically impossible, is it? What? It is? Oh, alright then.
Here it is being prepared for flight on a (very hot) Tuesday morning. The motor has since been changed from an old Webra 60 (which wore itself out through being old) to an old Irvine 60 (which oneday might also wear out due to being old).
Now it is even better. It now has a new ASP 91 4-stroke on the front which is very very powerful, as displayed in the 2 photos below. Now weighing around 6 lbs this is seriously heavyweight performance. As you can see it does prophang very well, and just before this photo was taken I did a touch-and-go on the elevator. It is seriously good fun.
