As the transfer of WCW from Turner to Fusient, Eric Bischoff is limited in bringing in more stars to the WCW roster. While he cannot add anything to the costs of the promotion, he can make lateral moves. Which means he can only hire new talent after getting rid of old ones. For example, if he wants to add a wrestler making $75,000 per year, he’d first have to clear out that amount of money by firing other talent. Nothing yet on when Bischoff will be able to more actively add payroll to WCW, in the way of more notable names.
