Activities and Organizations

Anime Society
The University of North Dakota Anime Society (UNDAS) is in its second year. The
goal of the organization is to provide a forum for watching and discussing anime (Japanese animation). UNDAS has more than doubled in size from our first year and is still growing.
Last year I was one of the officers who helped to start UNDAS. This year I do double duty as both the secretary and the treasurer
This has been an active year for UNDAS. Fall Semester we hosted both an Escaflowne Marathon and a Fushigi Yuugi Marathon. This semester we
have established relations with the Univeristy of Manitoba Anime Club. This summer we will be attending
AnimeIowa in Cedar Rapids. Iowa.
Sigma Alpha Iota
Sigma Alpha Iota (SAI) is a women's music fraternity for women with an interest and love of music. All women in the college and alumnae chapters joined the fraternity during their college years.
I am in the Mu Chapter of SAI. Our chapter is active in supporting music in the Grand Forks area. Last spring semester we hosted an SAI recital for all 80 active and nonactive
SAI memebers in the Grand Forks area.
I am the yearbook editor for Mu Chapter this year, and have recently taken on the task of developing a web site for our chapter.
