4 K's Miniature Horses was started with the purchase of a small "pony" for my daughter in 2000.
After having back surgery I was no longer riding my gelding and was spending more and more time with my daughter's pony. I found out I could get registration papers on the pony for the AMHR. I knew nothing of the AMHA or AMHR but with this one small horse I was hooked. I started looking up everthing I could on miniature horses. I found the Lil Beginnings sale board and by chance I saw a yearling leopard appaloosa stallion for sale that I just "had to have". (I am sure you all know what I mean :) I have always loved appaloosa's but never owned one. For some reason we had always just had Quarter horses or Paints. Now we have a total of 16 mini's and the herd just seems to keep growing.

I am centering my program around conformation, personality and the colorful appaloosa patterning.

We are situated on 40 acres just north east of Baldwin, ND.
