About The WNC Brain Tumor Support:
It is an adult support group for brain tumor survivors, their families, and caregivers. We are involved in support issues to help patients, survivors, and families better deal with the life shattering issue of a brain tumor and how to deal with it and its frightening consequences. Many support groups assure you that, "You are not alone," and this is very true. You are not alone! But at WNC Brain Tumor Support we have changed that thought to;
"To know the road ahead, ask those coming back"
"You don't have to be alone!"
"One of the most important features of a brain tumor support group is the ease with which group members can share their feelings with others. It's incredibly positive for participants to be able to talk with others who are in a similar situation and understand what they are going through." - Support Group Facilitator
Evidence has shown that participating in a support group can greatly benefit patients and families coping with a brain tumor.
