Piercing Care

Genitals

wash newly pierced area with antibacterial soap

rinse thoroughly

apply bactrine or bactricin zinc to jewelry and move back and forth so it get in pierced area

at least once a day soak in bathtub in epsom salt

do this as long as necessary for healing process

sex is optional

Surface Piercing

wash newly pierced area with antibacterial soap

rinse thoroughly

apply bactrine or bactricin zinc to jewelry and move back and forth so it get in pierced area

clean around area again with soap and water

do this 3 times a day for next 7 days

Oral Piercing

rinse mouth with an anti-septic wash 3 to 5 times a day

take 2 advil 3 times a day for swelling

crushed ice also helps

lightly brush tongue to remove any buildup

do not remove jewelry for at least one week
