This is the family page for all of the E. D. Thompson family.  Edward Davidson Thompson (Feb 20, 1875-Feb 11, 1939) and Nannie Hannah Boyd Thompson (Dec 21, 1878-Jun 24, 1950) lived in North Carolina for several years after they were married (Dec 21, 1897) and had three children.  Lina Emily Adelaide died when she was about a year old on Feb 27, 1900.  Hazel Boyd was born Oct 30, 1900 and Andrew Marion (Buck) was born Aug 14, 1903.  During this time, they bought a farm and moved to South Carolina.  Myrtle Lee was born Oct 15, 1905.  On Jan 3, 1906, the family moved to Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.  Nannie Thelma was born Dec 29, 1907, and Eunice Davidson was born Jul 25, 1910.  After that, they had four boys: Edward Dale was born Jan 15, 1913; John Knox was born May 6, 1915; Hubert Starr was born May 21,1916 (the year of the big Catawba River flood); and finally Bill Boyd was born November 11, 1918, the day the First World War ended.  There were then nine children - four girls and five boys. All have have gone to be with the Lord.  This site is dedicated to their memory and is established to provide information to their descendents.  Each year a reunion is held in October to celebrate the family.
