Here Ross takes time out with the class at O Charley's Ross thinking hard during class WELCOME TO ROSS'S PAGE. Ross Blount has been an instructor at Gaston College for over three years. He has a B.A. in Psycology from Lyon College in Arkansas and a M.S. in Sociology from Iowa State University. He has A wife and three children which he loves so much. Ross has many hobby's which include, white water rafting, surfing, and his favorite rock climbing. Ross is also a state certified mediator. The only non-lawyer mediator in the state of NC. He does over fifty meidation conferences a year, and over 350 under his belt. Ross is one of Gaston College's best teachers yet. His teaching style is one of the best a student can ask for. He makes learning sociology fun and exciting for everyone. Ross is not one of those teachers who just sits there, lectures you and bore you to tears, but a teacher who lets the whole class interact with each other. Ross's learning style is like painting a picture. Ross gives you the paint and canvas and lets you(the student)paint the picture your-self. This is what Ross calles the Democratic learning style. Every class Ross teaches is based on our Three team principles, which is the Airplane, Ping pong balls, and of course feeding of the cow.
