Riverwalk Gallery will host a Holiday Preview reception  on Thursday November 16 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm.  Plan to attend and enjoy the wine and refreshments and view the new holiday selection.

Riverwalk Gallery will hold a GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION on Thursday, August 10th, 6 until 8 pm.  See our beautiful new location on 139 West Main Street,  Washington, NC.  Wine and refreshments will be graciously provided and tended by the Curiosity Shoppe Cafe and Bar, 201 West Main Street.

Jeff Jakub was elected to the Who's Who in American Art for 2007-2008. 
 
Milton Bland is the featured artist at the Farmville Community Arts Council through October 2006.
 
The Oncology Center at Beaufort County Hospital features an artist gallery of work by Linda Boyer, Sam Wall, Carolyn Sleeper and Jeff Jakub.
 
Carolyn Sleeper is participating in Washington's Saturday Artisian Market on the Saturdays following Music in the Streets (3rd Saturdays June through October) and she will be teaching Pottery at Beaufort County Community College beginning this fall. Carolyn R. Sleeper exhibits her pottery and jewelery at Uptown Gallery in Greenville, NC, and at The Bead Diva in
Oriental, NC.

Debbie O'Neal's jewelry is now available at the Alta Vista Gallery in Boone, NC and at Galeria Ortiz, San Antonio, TX. Debbie's work now also appears in Miss Marie's on Queen St in Beaufort, NC.

.Alice Stalling's scarves are available at the Grovewood Gallery in Asheville and Wickwire Gallery in Hendersonville.

 MEMBERS

Sharon Lord exhibits in Ballantyne Framing and Gallery, New Bern; Art and Soul Beaufort, SC; Orange Cat Gallery, New Bern; Carolina Artist Studio and Gallery, Morehead City; The Salt Marsh Gallery, Smyrna . Her photography has been on the cover of The Jesuit magazine and on the cover of a Duke University catalog.
 

Allen Weaver has a BFA with a major in Product Design and a minor in Sculpture from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH.  He has also taken graduate courses in industrial design and sculpture at Syracuse University and sculpture at East Carolina University.

He practiced Industrial Design for approximately thirty years in corporate design offices and as an independent consultant.  He has been involved in strategic planning and design management.  His product design focus has been on computer and electronic products, office furniture, retail stores, point of sale packaging, and home entertainment systems.  As an avocation he has been involved in the design of housing and interior space. He has also been involved in the design of small boats and yachts and received instruction from the Westlawn Institute of Marine Technology.

Milton Bland, potter, father, family man, studied ceramics at Lenoir Community College and East Carolina University. His award winning pottery varies from tall vases to unique small items and often features an ancestral theme. His work is characterized by the dramatic use of color and symbols.

Pamela Zimmerman uses traditional weaving techniques and many different fibers to create baskets and other forms. She is especially known in basketry circles for her execution of the miniature basket, considered the best demonstration of a basket maker’s skill. Pamela is one of very few non-native artists producing the very collectible coiled horsehair baskets. Her most recent efforts are centered on creating woven sculptural forms and tableaus. She has  won over 30 art and exhibit awards in North Carolina shows with her fiber pieces, including Best Beaufort County Artist, Beaufort County Fine Arts Show 2003.

Linda Boyer (948-0000) teaches Drawing and Painting from Nature at the Estuarium.

Nancy Collis (946-9107) teaches Watercolor As You Like It at BCCC Continuing Education.

Jeffrey Jakub (946-2811) teaches classes in watercolor on Tuesday mornings at the Gallery.

Dee Standish (752-2958) offers custom framing service.

Sam Wall is teaching oil painting at the Beaufort County Community College.
