PSPUG TUTORIALS
HOMEWORK
February 2002~~~Week 3 and 4
Class Coordinator: Maggie Alba
Class Facilitator: Rosebear
Tutorial: "Pot of Gold"
Created by: the Prof

This tutorial is a four part series creating the individual images that will be used in creating a Pot o' Gold for a St. Patrick's Day Card.

For this tutorial the assignment was to create the three individual images.

(1)The Rainbow: Describes gradients, creates a rainbow and how to covert it into a tube.
(2)The Pot: Uses weave and scupture effects with shading.
(3)The Shamrock: Uses circles and shading effects.

And finally, for the 4th part of this tutorial we combined all the images in order to make a card.

Below are my creations of each image.

For some reason I had problems with the images being created on a transparent background. When I would resize them, per the instructions, they ended up on a "white" background. So I transferred them to the background that I an using here. And should I decide to use them in the future I will put them on the background of my choice.

Ta-Da...This is my version of part 4 of the tutorial.
However, since I thought the images that I created did not look as "nice" as the ones the Prof had made, I decided to use the ones that were provided for the final part of this lesson. But of course, as you can see, I did decide to throw in a wee-bit of extras.

Thanks to all for the hardwork that went into this tutorial and the class instructions. It was a long tutorial, but very interesting! Thank you "Rosebear" for your assistance helping me with my question on making the Rainbow.
