An animal lover all of my life, I have been actively involved in rescue for over three years now.
Along with rescuing animals from shelters in the western NC region or from their owners who could no longer keep them, I have also assisted with long distance transports. I foster cats and dogs in my home until good, loving homes are found.
When I am not working with animals, I teach high school English. I love reading, community theatre, and traveling.
