Agility Training in Greensboro, NC

At the 2005 Australian Shepherd Club of America Nationals, which was held in Conyers, GA at the Olympic Horse Park, Bree did the following:

  • Earned her Agility Trial Champion (ATCH) title on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005
  • Placed 13th out of 50 dogs in the Agility Finals (only the top pointed Elite dogs were invited to compete in this event)
  • Won High in Trial Elite dog (out of 128 dogs) and High in Trial Overall dog (out of over 300 dogs) in the Nationals agility event!

Pam began agility in 1992 with Cody, her German Shepherd (his titles are: U-CD, U-AGI, U-AGII, AKC-CD, ASCA-CD, CGC). She's competed in agility events held by American Kennel Club (AKC), National American Dog Agility Council (NADAC), Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA), and United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA). She also trains and competes in flyball, obedience, frisbee, and herding.

Pam's teaching experience includes agility, obedience, and flyball classes. Her class approach is enthusiastic and challenging. Below is her teaching bio:

In addition, several of Pam's flyball students are now running with the Blockade Runners flyball team and doing very well.

In her spare time, Pam loves to compete! Pam's dogs have received agility, obedience, and flyball titles – with legs towards frisbee and herding titles. Below are some of their accomplishments:

  • Under the USASA Agility Standings for November/December 2001, Curry was ranked as the #2 Novice A - 20" agility dog. He was also listed as the #3 Novice A 20" dog for Jan. 2001-July 2001, #2 Novice A 20" dog for Jan. 2001-Sept. 2001, and #3 Novice A 20" dog Jan. 2001-Nov. 2001.

  • 2009 Performance Grand Prix Qualifier for USDAA (Performance National Standard)
  • 2008 USDAA DAM (Dog Agility Masters) Team Qualifier
  • 2006 ASCA Nationals Agility Finals Qualifier
  • Was High In Trial Elite dog (out of 128 dogs) and High In Trial Overall (out of over 300 dogs) at the 2005 ASCA Nationals Agility Trial
  • Placed 13th out of 50 dogs for the 2005 ASCA Nationals Agility Finals
  • 2005 ASCA Nationals Agility Finals Qualifier
  • 2004 USASA Agility Recognition Award for 1st Place Open 16" Dog
  • Under the USASA Agility Standings for March/April 2005, Bree was tied for FIRST in the JWW Open dogs and was #2 for the Regular Open dogs.
  • July 5, 2004 – Bree was the Aussie Champion for the Busy Dog Agility Challenge (points accumulated from Memorial Weekend trial and July 4th trial)
  • July 5, 2004 – Bree was High In Trial Aussie AND High In Trial Elite Dog at the Busy Dog agility trial!
  • May 31, 2004 – Bree was High In Trial Aussie AND High In Trial Elite Dog at the Busy Dog agility trial!
  • May 30, 2004 – Bree was High In Trial Aussie at the Busy Dog agility trial!
  • March 23, 2004 – Bree completed the 60 Weave Pole Challenge at Clean Run Camp. She completed it in 16.03 seconds!
  • 2003 Reserve High Point Agility Dog for the Carolina Australian Shepherd Club
  • Under the USASA Agility Standings for January/February 2004, Bree was ranked #10 in Regular Novice dogs.
  • April 5-6, 2002, Bree was fast enough to be one of the Blockade Runners dogs who competed at the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge in Flyball for the East Coast in Atlanta, GA.

Her dogs have performed agility demos at the Raleigh Mudcats baseball games, and other area dog events. They've even performed flyball demos during Harlem Globetrotter shows and competed in the Purina Incredible Dog Challenge! Pam's dogs are now members of the Dogsmack flyball team (previously with the Blockade Runners from 1998-2005).
