Council helps Relay jump out to
fast start
Council 9365 helped St. James jump out
to a great start in the 2003 Granville County Relay for Life.
The parish raised $1,200 with a Council-led breakfast fundrasier
held March 30 and through the sale of luminaries to honor loved ones stricken
with cancer.

eggs a la Schaenzer, fresh fruit, juice
and coffee to an estimated 180 parishioners and friends. Members of the
Altar Society contributed a wide assortment of pastries to the fundraiser.
The Council plans to anchor its effort with Knights walking the
track during the May 9-10 event and with additional sales of baked goods
during
the relay.
