| Parker-Wood Brothers again
demonstrated their culinary flair as Council 9365 hosted a formal dinner
for the Bishop McGuiness Assembly on Flag Day, June 14. Approximately 40 people -- Sir Knights, their wives and guests attended mass and a dinner/business meeting, The effort -- the first such event of its kind hosted by Council 9365 -- was led by Sir Knight |

James Dutra. The evening began with the Saturday vigil at St. James, with Sir Knights processing into the sanctuary in full regalia. Following the mass, Sir Knights and their guests moved to the Parish Hall, which was decorated in a red, white and blue theme in keeping with the spirit of the holiday. |

After a cocktail hour, attendees
were served a dinner of hickory-smoked roasted pork loin, corn pudding, apple
chutney and green bean and creamer potato salad. A dessert of assorted tartlets
and tea and coffee completed the meal. Assisting Brother Dutra in the kitchen were Brothers Bill Duffell and John Picciolli, and Dutra's wife, Lori. |
