Brother
Steve Treacy and his children -- Elizabeth, Kevin and Catherine -- solicit
donations at Granville Corners during the September Operation L.A.M.B.
drive. Council 9365 needs to raise $3,400 during the Tootsie Roll drive
on Nov. 1 to meet our goal for 2003. Volunteers are urged to contact Brother
Mike Snow or Brother Bill Duffell to sign up for a shift. |

Joanne Hasenfus, wife of PGK Ray Hasenfus, leads the cheers from
the Parker-Wood section during the Bulls 4-0 win over the Richmond Braves
on Aug. 15. Council 9365 members and their families enjoyed a night at
the ballpark and a fireworks display. At left, the scoreboard acknowledges
the Knights of Columbus from "Henterson."

Be Our Guest
Council 9365 hosted a Flag Day Mass and Dinner for
the Bishop McGuiness Assembly on June 14. Some 40 people -- Sir
Knights, their wives and special guests -- attended the first
of its kind event for the Council.

¡Felicidades!
Brother Felix Saez, second from left, was among
the 11 men accepted by Bishop Gossman as candidates for ordination
to the permanent diaconate at a June 13 ceremony at Sacred Heart Cathedral
in Raleigh.

Great Start
Brother John Williford accepts a donation
from Oxford resident Taylor Currin during the 2003 Operation
L.A.M.B. kickoff on May 3. More than $2,300 was collected from
outside several Food Lion stores in Vance and Granville counties.
Kudos to the Knights, parishioners and teachers who donated their
time to help the less fortunate. The Council also has received a corporate
contribution -- a $1,000 donation from the Wal Mart SuperCenter
in Henderson.
