We have succeeded in changing some minds in DC on the permit issue in NC regarding ALL NFA transfers...seems that the powers that be were stating to all examiners that there was a law on the books in NC that required a "NFA Permit" for any transfer into or within the state...not so, if you do your reading at the link below, you too can see that the permit is ONLY required for MACHINE GUNS. After reviewing the real law (and some prodding by us), the ATF has relaxed their interpretation of existing laws and stated exactly what state law says. We have retained one of the finest lawyers in the business to further reinforce our position, hopefully this will help, not hinder, our cause. Updates to follow as they come available.
