Drip...Drip...Drip. The sound of water from a pipe onto the cold hard concrete surface, a small puddle lays from what was once a dry, dusty surface. Pipes that were once brand new, now look abandoned. Left there to decay, decay under the rust that has gathered throughout the years of not being taken care of or treated with the such monitoring that they deserved. The camera runs along the cracked pipe which is were the leak is coming from and as it slowly runs through the path that has simply rotted away. The camera picks up in the small light, none other than chris benoit. Sitting there, the expression that shows nothing but sorrow. something that we're not accustomed to see. Something i doubt anyone has ever seen in his eighteen plus year as a professional wrestler...He looks lost, searching for answers....

Benoit: " What i have done, not only effected myself but effected The Maple Leafs as a whole. My actions or lack of them, cost as you'll all think. didn't really cost me anything, because i've got a chance to go on and become the number one contender for the world heavyweight championship. Jericho on the other hand, well get's the shorter end of the stick and goes on to face, Christian and for what? The Intercontinental Title...Not to take anything away from the Intercontinental title, but it's hardly up there with the World Heavyweight championship.
The deep look in the eyes of the rabid wolverine does not disappear, but instead it shows more as he reflects on what happened this past week on Raw. He looks hurt, something that is unknown of when it comes to talking about Chris Benoit. You would never hear those words in the same sentence..With those words i mean "Hurt & Chris Benoit" unless he's the one dishing it out.

Benoit: " And you find yourself saying the same thing over and over again, I know what your thinking. I know what you're all dieing to say, You're all dieing to line up one by one and say how unfair it is for one man to be rewarded for what can only be described as a complete no show....And no matter how you look at it, no matter how you weigh it up. It's still wrong. How can that be? why is this able to go on within such a well respected and disciplined company? I'm affraid on this one, Your guess would be as good as mine. Why should i not be punished for what went on? When everything says i should be. When it's as clear as day i should not be rewarded in anyway,shape or form for what i did or didn't depending on what way you're looking at it.
Benoit slowly lowers his head, pausing for a moment he lets out a small sigh....Benoit is showing a side that no one ever thought he had. The man we've come to see in the ring week in and week out, the man we've watched tear opponent limb from limb each and every week is definetly showing a more passionate side to him, Not the man from the past who barely showed any emotion or any personality for that matter.

After everything we had built was simply pissed away he stood and looked into my eyes and accepted my apology. AND THAT'S WHAT HURTS! IT HURTS THE MOST KNOWING FULL WELL THAT I FUCKED UP...ME, NOT CHRIS JERICHO WHO TRIED HIS DAMNEST TO SAVE WHAT WE HAD STARTED.
Suddenly Benoits head shoots up from the its lowered position, his eyes full of hurt, full of rage and anger at what happened. After what he allowed to go on inside the ring that last Raw ....

Benoit: " In such a short time, you reminded me what it was like to go out there and enjoy what i do. You opened so many doors and gave me...ME, the choice on whether i wanted to walk through them or not. Since your return i've gone from opening house shows to world title contendership...And how do i repay you? By practically slapping you in the face. More or less walking up to Justin Credible and Raven and handing over the tag titles without a fight, that's how i repay you. I left you to defend what we both had started, to what we had started as a team. I took what we had created and stamped all over the top of it.....
Benoit can hardly control his breathing. It's going so fast he is unable to control his composure, what frame of mind is Benoit really in?...Is he beginning to loose it? He opens and closes his eyes quickly, trying and trying to regain himself before he flies of the hinges.

Benoit: " What do i do now? where do i go from here? Well if i've learned anything from you Jericho, then what i must do is go from here and go out the next raw and do what it is i've been doing since day one....I must go out and do it all over again, i must Prove Myself I must stop looking upon the past and look to the future and standing in my future is Batista, just one of the men I have to go through. What will this be on raw next week? It'll be Chris Benoit showing one of the men that'll hope to stand in his way that he's not just there to make up the numbers. That i am there to do what i've been destined to do ever since i stepped foot in this industry and thats become the World Heavyweight champion, no matter who stands in my way.
Bringing his hands up to cover his face, benoit takes a few deep breaths. This time it looks to have done the trick as he manages to return to his usual Cold look as he returns his focus back to the camera.

I'll show the whole world that against the so called demon, that i can even make him scream under the most extreme pressure. This ain't going to be a walk in the park for either of us Batista, but i plan on walking in to Raw with a point to proove and walking out with my point prooven. Benoits eyes are cold, no emotion. Quite difficult to understand how he can change so quickly but knowing full well he just has, within a matter minutes showing his heart on his sleave to absolute nothingness.
