This past week, the number one efed in the world,ece, brought the action to Manchester, England, and boy what a tour it was. Blood,Sweat,and Tears was a historic night, as the Rabid Wolverine Chris Benoit made his historic return to eCe, and helped Randy Orton from an nWo beatdown. This week, Nitro is in Canada, and Benoit and The nWo will meet in tag team action. Kevin Nash will team with his trusty lackey, Scott Hall, while Chris Benoit's partner is The Legend Killer Randy Orton. But one thing is for sure, the rivalry between the nWo and the Rabid Wolverine will escalate even further this week, as Bad Blood gets closer, Chris Benoit is adament to prove he is the better man.
The scene opens up, in the town center of Toronto. The place is pretty crowded, with alot of people out, shopping or meeting up to socialise. Some music can be heard, and the camera zooms in, and we can see an Organ Grinder making the music, whilst his monkey dances. A few people walk past and drop a couple of coins in the hat on the floor, and then one person drops some money, but stops. The camera turns so we can see who it is, ITS CHRIS BENOIT! Benoit stands, a smile on his face. The Organ Grinder nervously stops playing, as the muscular Rabid Wolverine, faces him.
||Organ Grinder||Can I help you, sir?
||Chris Benoit||Im sorry, I didnt mean to alarm you. I just made a really odd comparison in my head.
||Organ Grinder||Whats that then?
||Chris Benoit||A comparison........its when you compare two things to see how similar they are.
||Organ Grinder||I know what a comparison is. I meant what comparison did you make?
Chris Benoit chuckles a little, and the Organ Grinder stops playing, as he seems interested in what Benoit has to say. The small monkey, wearing a waist coat and a phez, stops dancing and hops onto his owners shoulder.
||Chris Benoit||Well you see.......Im a proffessional wrestler. And the company I work for, Extreme Championship Entertainment, is holding a show right here in Toronto on monday. And this monday I face the man who I have grown to hate, the man who wants to end my career, in a tag team match. See, he seems to think, that he deserves MY Respect. He seems to believe.....that he isn't appreciated..Or that the New World Order is taking over. This man is Kevin Nash, and he wants what I deserve. And this week, I team with The Legend Killer Randy Orton...A man who I have trouble trusting..Who knows what he'll do. But Kevin Nash, he gets to team with a man who has shown his loyalty to him, time and time again. A man who has devoted his life to backing up Nash and the nWo, and a man that Kevin Nash trusts one hundred percent. This week, I team with Randy Orton, to take on Kevin Nash, and his loyal partner, Scott Hall.
||Organ Grinder||Im sorry, but I dont see the comparison?
||Chris Benoit||The comparison? The comparison is........when you start playing the music.......your monkey dances. When you tell him to come here, he comes running. Well its the same with Hall and Nash. When Kevin Nash gives an order, Scott obliges. When Kevin says jump, Scott says how high? Kevin Nash is the organ grinder........and this week, he is bringing his monkey to the ring. But it doesnt bother me, because once again, the odds are stacked against me. The match is without a shadow of a doubt, in Kevin's favour. But time and time again, I HAVE BEATEN THE ODDS! I have overcome so much in my career, that I am used to it by now. Infact........I ENJOY IT! All the critics who said I was too small to make it in this business, all the people who said I wasnt good enough.........I TAKE PRIDE IN THROWING IT BACK IN THEIR FACES! Because I HAVE MADE IT! And Kevin Nash and Scott Hall want to ruin that, and its like taking a lamb to slaughter. Because Hall isnt stepping into the ring with anybody.........he is stepping into the ring with THE BEST DAMN TECHNICAL WRESTLER IN THE WORLD TODAY! And Scott isnt going to show is loyalty to Kevin by beating me.........he will show it by suffering on Nash's behalf!
||Organ Grinder||I dunno......see Bruno here, he is very loyal. We make a great team. If this Hall fella, is as loyal as you say he is, then I think it could be very dangerous for you.
||Chris Benoit||Dangerous? Dangerous is taking risk after risk everynight just to do what you love. Dangerous is breaking your neck, and competing for a whole month like nothing is wrong. Im not scared of going into this match, because I dont fear anything.....or anyone. Scott Hall maybe loyal to Kevin Nash, but I am loyal to myself. My loyalty is unquestionable. When there was no one there to help me in Japan, I still came through. When everyone was saying Id never make it, I stayed loyal and made it. When they said I would never be World Champion, I stayed loyal, AND BECAME THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! The only danger, is for The Outsiders, because they are going up against a man who fears nothing.......BUT IS FEARED BY EVERYONE! And right now, I need to prove once again, that I am not for real, that I am the Best damn technical wrestler in the world today. I need to prove to everybody, that when Nitro comes along, Chris Benoit is going to make Kevin Nash TAP OUT! And this week, I will beat Kevin Nash, and I will make his partner beg for mercy........Because Chris Benoit.......IS FOR REAL!
The organ grinder turns and looks at the monkey, which is now perched on his shoulder. He looks confused, as the intense Crippler stands, breathin heavily.
||Organ Grinder||Well good luck, because...
||Chris Benoit||Because why? Because I have to face 2 people who have been togethor for the past several years, when I am teaming with someone I don't trust? The only luck that is needed, is for the Outsiders, because they are facing the best! They are facing a man that knows what he has to do to survive........CRIPPLE PEOPLE! And this monday on Nitro, Nash will realise that no matter who he teams with, HE CANNOT BEAT ME! Noone can beat me. I have proved to the world that I am the man that deserves to hold the World Title, and I will prove it again. Because this coming monday, Nash or Hall will find themselves locked in the Crippler Crossface, wishing that the ropes were closer. And I will pull back harder and harder, until I hear a bone snap. And they will scream........they will squel.......AND THEY WILL TAP! Because they are not stepping into the ring with me this monday, they are stepping into the Crippler's Personal Playground of Pain........a place where pain is breathing, and suffering is the air. A place where the only way to survive, is to tap out. I will walk into Nitro, just like I have so many times before, and I will make Kevin Nash tap for his life........AND LUCK WILL HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! Prove Me Wrong Nash..Hall...Because regardless of how loyal you two jackasses are.......
Chris Benoit turns, snarling, but the Organ Grinder isnt there. He looks up, and the Organ Grinder is running around the nearby corner, with his monkey following closely. Benoit smiles a crooked, toothless grin, and continues walking, as the scene fades to black.
This week, the wCw comes to Toronto, and Chris Benoit knows that he needs to win. And this time, he knows he has to make sure that Nash or Hall taps, to send a clear message. With Nitro getting closer and closer, the showdown between these two teams is not just a tag match anymore.......its for pride. And Chris Benoit prides himself on being the best.......which means The Outsiders need to be CRIPPLED!
