First of all, here are some tips to get you started, and also are things that may help you with a lot of your tricks. Whether you skate goofy or regular, just remember these few things:

Ollies- Try to keep your weight centered on the board as you get ready to pop. If you lean toward your toe side, you may tend to turn a little bit as you ollie and you will land crooked or not at all. Lean a little bit forward (towards your nose) and push your back foot forward as you pop to keep the board in motion. The farther back you have your front foot on the board, the higher the pop you usually will have, but don't position your front foot any farther back than the center of the board or else the board may pop too vertical to control. As you pop, slide your front foot forward and up as high as you can while at the same time jumping forward with your back foot. Tuck your feet and try not to lean forward too much. Watch the screws of your board and try to land on them.

That will probably be the longest single entry in the trick tips section, so don't stress, there's not a lot of physical labor to skateboarding. About 90% of all skateboarding is mental. Just think about it and do it and you will be set.

Other little tips to remember are:

Flip Tricks- Just do as the flip trick says, and try to remember to land on the screws. Just aim for one foot to get on it's screws, and the other will follow accordingly. This allows better controlled landings and prevention of snapping your board

Grinds and Slides- For whatever grind or slide you do, just try to keep all your weight over the part you are grinding on. If it's a Tailslide, lean in on the tail. If it's a Smith, center yourself on the back trucks.

Grabs- For every grab, just try to focus on grabbing the board and keeping both feet on the board, unless it's a Benihana or something where the board is supposed to leave your feet. Try to get as much air as you can to grab the board and hold it, and then you should be ok.
