This group meets every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. for the following activities:
1. Exercising: Low impact floor aerobics
2. Working on current month's craft project.

3. Shopping at Thrift Shop

4. Enjoying visits from various speakers who speak on subjects of interest to seniors. These photographs were taken when an officer from the Halifax County Sheriff's Department visited to speak on how seniors can be safer in their homes.
5. Discussing future plans for fundraisers and special events. The most recent fund raising project was a quilt raffle. Each Between-Ager brought in several 5 inch squares, which were then traded and taken home by the members. They were sewn together and brought back the following week. Here are some pictures of that quilt.

Recently the Halifax County Health Department came to our Community Center to administer flu shots. Here's a few pictures of that visit.
Birthdays are celebrated at a restaurant in Rocky Mount. R.E.A.C.H. provides the transportation to the Between-Agers choice of dining for the day. Anyone that has had a birthday in the past month is treated to a free lunch by the group.
All of our members enjoy being active with whatever is going on at the time. The Between-Agers organization meets the basic needs of a "Between-Ager"in todays world. What really holds this group together is that the members have
1) Something to do
2) Something to look forward to and
3) Someone to love.
and our "Between-Agers" truly love, and depend on one another. In times of grief, which come far too often at this stage of their lives, they are there for one another.
Go with us now on one of our trips, which was a lunch cruise on the Spirit of Norfolk through the intercoastal waterway around the Norfolk Naval Base.
