Note " There is two or three graves out in the field behind this house and I was told it was some of Will Jones's family members."

Note " House (3) & (4) is the same house, John B. moved the house from (4) to (3) out by the road. They moved it with a hand type wench."

Note " House (7) was a small square log house."

Note " House (9) burned down and George Levi rebuild in the same spot. Alma his wife is still living.
(10) Joshua Whitfield Ward & Elizabeth Louisa Stephens.
Note" House (10) is where Elizabeth Louisa was living at the time of her death. From what I can figure is that just maybe Joshua C. Ward lived here until his death and then his Son Joshua Whitfield moved from house (16) into his dad's house. Elizabeth Louisa fell and broke her hip and died at the hospital in Whiteville.
(11) Thomas Albert Ward & Alberta White.
Note " House (11) was not much of a house, it was a slap board house build square with a flat roof and had a dirt floor. Dad would go into the back of the field behind the house and dig up white clay and use it to white wash the outside of the slab house.

Note " Across the road from house (15) on the map is a ?. I have since learned by talking to some of the older people that this is where Sam Ward's Father lived.

Note " I think by the land deed papers I have where Joshua Whitfield Ward sold land and from what my mother told me, that this was the house that Joshua Whitfield and Elizabeth Louisa lived before they moved into house (10)".
