- Axed
- Having been maimed, hit, or killed by an axe.
"Gossard was AXED by Tarhen."
B
- Beheaded
- When a person is killed by a third rank head or neck critt.
"Rabki just got BEHEADED by Tarhen"

- Boiled
- When someone is hit by the spell Boil Earth(917).
"Geosain just got BOILED."
- Boulder
- One of the most popular dueling spots. Also see: The Dingy, Merchant Road, and The Log.

- Claided
- The act of being beat about by a claidhmore(someone wielding a claidhmore).

- Conflict
- A fight. Also see: CvC, PvP, and Duel.
- Critted
- When a third rank wound is created, usually describing a death, but can also mean any third rank wound. "Haha Firebyrdd got critted by a dagger."

- CvC
- Character Vs. Character conflict, when two characters fight. Also see: PvP, Conflict, and Duel.

- Death Critt
- When a person is killed by a critt resulting in a third rank wound.

- Dingy, The
- One of the first dueling spots, no longer useable because of the extended jurisdiction of the constable. Is located outside the North gate and to the northeast. Also see: Boulder, The Log, and Merchant Road.
- Dewl
- The word preferred by Balstraud when speaking of dueling.
- Duel
- To engange in consentual PvP or CvC. Also see: PvP, CvC, and Dewl.

- Firewuss
- Nickname for the current boulder-wizard twit, Firebyrdd(feel proud you got recognition).

- Imploded
- The state of having been hit by the spell 720(implosion).

- To maim, or kill in any way.
"Gossard got JACKed up."
- To steal something.
"Recoil just JACKed your diamond."

- When a persons leg is removed in any way.
- Log, The
- One of the earlier dueling spots, nobody duels there anymore. Is located southwest of the footpath into Hobgoblins. Also see: Boulder, Merchant Road, and The Dingy.

- Merchant Road
- More of a murdering spot then a dueling spot, many people have been dragged here to be murdered, because it is the nearest spot outside of the new jurisdiction. Also see: Boulder, The Log, and The Dingy.

- New Jurisdiction
- A few years ago(January 14, 2000 as quoted by Brauden) the constable's jurisdiction expanded to include areas around the town gates, prior to that his jurisdiction ended as soon as you went through the gates.

- Owned
- Having been beat down or killed.
Example"Gossard just got owned."

- 'Ploded
- Slang for imploded.
- Porch Monkey
- One of the twits that like to sit around on the porch of Hearthstone and occassionaly come to the boulder to "Have Their Asses Handed To Them."

- Spiked
- The state of having been hit by the spell 616(spike thorn).
- Stud
- A member of the -stud group of the boulder, consists of some of the more advanced duelers. Term coined by Balstraud(Balstud). Also see: Boulder.

- In this case, anyone that acts like an idiot.
