All Florida state parks provide a designated day-use area for pets. Owners must control their pets and keep them on a hand-held leash not to exceed six feet in length. None of the state parks allows pets in any of the following areas: beaches or playgrounds, cabins, park buildings, concession facilities, or bathing areas. Some parks set aside additional areas as no-pet zones.
For those individuals camping with their pets, the fee is $2 per animal per night. Pet owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccination when they register to camp.
