Sisters of Distinction, is an organization that established itself on the North Carolina Wesleyan College Campus During the 1998-1999 school year. This organization was founded to fulfill the specific needs and livelihoods of all women enrolled in the college. However, we seek to enhance personal qualities, shared positive characteristics, and promote sisterhood amongst all women within the Wesleyan Community.
Sisters of Distinction pride itself in the effort to transcend academically, socially, spiritually, and emotionally. We offer support to our members in all areas mentioned above. We promote unity, academic excellence, professionalism in dress, and in character. We uphold self-respect and respect for others, because it strengthens the quality of our organization, our school, our community, and our ability to succeed in the workforce.
As members of this prestige organization, our mission is to commit ourselves to the membership and development of Sisters of Distinction by promoting self-esteem, pride, academic excellence, deeds, and respect for ourselves, each other, our school and community.
