I have become a real fan of thematic units in my teaching. They enable students to really "take flight" in their educational experience, and permit teachers and students to totally immerse themselves in specific subjects while still covering a wide range of curriculum requirements. For this reason, I will attempt to provide links to some of the best thematic units that I've found in my travels through the Internet. The Middle Ages This wonderful educational exhibit is a product of the Annenberg Foundation in cooperation with the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. It covers many different aspects of life in the Middle Ages.
The Renaissance This educational exhibit covers life during the Renaissance. Another good one!
