Late May 5/20/03, 2:57: Wow. Haven't been here in a while. The last archive is for November, so only read it if you're feeling really nostalgic. However, I think maybe I should take a swing at this again since I am moving to Scotland for a year and won't see anyone particularly often. Yes, yes, there's new year's but come on, really people. I've eaten almost every meal with you for two years. I will be missing the cozy glow of Perkins Love that daily surrounds me. And on sad days, when I stare out my window, it won't be Lincoln Field I see. So maybe instead of mass e-mails, I'll do this and then e-mail people quickies about interesting events. I'm debating the practicality of my options, so bear with me while I change my mind. On a completely seperate note, commencement week is lovely. It's warm, and I've been secretly dating myself for a good three days. Which is exciting because I'm so hot. No, but really, I started the new Tom Robbins book, Villa Incognito, and am generally alone but not so lonely as I've gotten lots of lovely IMs from friends. However, as I have lost my cell phone, I am unable to talk to anyone. Which is a bizarre, disconnected feeling. I mean...what if you were trying to call me? I wouldn't know! I still don't know! I walked up and down the East Side yesterday for about an hour singing a very sad song, looking for my phone. The lyrics went something like "Cell phone, cell phone, return unto my heart, for I love you and when you do, we'll ne'er be apart...Cell phone, cell phone, oh why've you gone astray? I love you more than any words will e'er be able to say." And it went on for a very long time, because I was very sad. But every life has its share of tiny tragedies, and such are mine. Also, I actually quit Ursas so congrats to the new and improved, assertive Jamieson. The Action Figure Release Date has yet to be determined, but I can guarantee swift karate chop action. Other than that, there's been a lot of napping. And wishing I had my cell phone. And wishing I had friends here who weren't in rehearsal 10 hours a day. But soon I'll be home, and then two weeks after that I'll be home again! With Hana and Taby!!! And then, HARRY POTTER 5 WILL BE RELEASED!!!!!!!!! And then, I shall be just as happy as I ever was. Anyway, I'm off to nap again so leave me a message in my guesbook if you miss me and if you think a website works better than mass e-mails. Mwah!
