In wake of the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001 in New
York, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C., Buncombe County Rescue and
all of our members as a whole extend our deepest sorrow to the
families of all the victims who lost their lives or were injured as
a result of the horrific attack on our country. Many of these
were firefighters, police officers, and rescue workers who were
killed in the line of duty in their dedication to their profession,
their communities, and humanity. These, our fallen brothers
and sisters, will always be remembered for their heroism along with
all of the innocent civilians who perished that day. |
